Job Title: Principal Vision and Tooling Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Vision and Tooling Engineer to join our team at bioMerieux. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining machine vision systems and tooling systems to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop machine vision systems to inspect and measure plastic parts.
  • Develop and implement tooling systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for machine vision and tooling systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine vision and tooling systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Material Science with 10 years of experience in machine vision and tooling systems.
  • Strong knowledge of machine vision and tooling systems, including design, development, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Material Science.
  • Experience with statistical methods and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and design control.
