What does the role entail?

Food Service Duties:

  • Chop, slice, dice, and prepare food items according to recipe specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Prepackage condiments (sauces, dressings) for ready-to-eat food items
  • Complete tasks at designated workstations
  • Assist in various cooking venues
  • Support technical areas and catering orders as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Food Safety and Sanitation:

  • Adhere to H-E-B's food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Properly manage temperature integrity of all ingredients and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas
  • Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Collaborate as a team member to ensure a safe and productive environment

Customer Service Expectations:

  • Deliver exceptional internal customer service
  • Assist guests as necessary
What is your background?

  • Minimum age of 18 (mandatory)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training/work experience (preferred)
