The Quality Assurance Specialist position is a full-time, temp-to-hire role with a consistent schedule and potential for overtime.

This role could lead to a long-term position if it aligns well with your skills and aspirations. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that all equipment on-site is properly calibrated and that records are meticulously maintained.

As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will collaborate closely with authorized calibration service providers to guarantee that calibration tasks are executed and documented effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Conduct measurement and verification of electro-mechanical components, injection molded plastics, and printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Confirm that Measurement and Test Equipment is calibrated and up-to-date prior to each use.
  • Ensure that nonconforming materials are properly identified, segregated, and managed according to the quality system.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a highly regulated manufacturing setting, preferably within the Medical Device sector.
  • Experience in precision measurement involving mechanical components, sheet metal, injection molded plastics, and/or PCBA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation:
$25 - $26 per hour
