Job Overview

Compensation: $20.61 per hour, minimum (Based on experience)

Work Schedule: Swing shift

Employment Type: Full-time

Incentive Details: $1000 sign-on bonus distributed in two parts:

  • First part of the bonus ($500) will be awarded after completing 60 days of employment in the designated role.
  • Second part of the bonus ($500) will be awarded after completing six months of employment in the designated role.

OBJECTIVE

The aim is to deliver high-quality meals in a safe and sanitary environment. Efficiently manage daily tasks related to food preparation, production, and the setup and breakdown of service areas. Ensure that food quantities meet current operational demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for the quality, quantity, consistency, and timeliness of food preparation.
  • Adhere to established recipes and procedures to guarantee quality food presentation, portion control, garnish usage, and appropriate substitutions.
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of menu items and standards from memory.
  • Comply with proper food handling practices regarding storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Follow recipes, timings, and temperatures to produce high-quality and consistent culinary products.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Demonstrated work history indicating reliability.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Goal-oriented, organized, capable of multitasking, possessing exceptional customer service skills, and comfortable in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • One year of experience in food service.
  • Completion of the Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series.

Snoqualmie Casino prioritizes hiring Snoqualmie Tribal Members/Native Americans in accordance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
