Key Responsibilities- Assess the needs of potential adopters and match them with pets most suited for their lifestyle and preferences.
- Provide education on pet care, behavior, and medical history to adopters.
- Ensure a seamless adoption process, from initial inquiry to post-adoption follow-up.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve adoption goals and promote animal welfare.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of animal behavior, body language, and handling techniques.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language proficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or animal welfare preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
