Job Opportunity: Licensed Surveyor

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Surveyor to join our Survey Group in Ashburn, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects and client accounts, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the successful management of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Client Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Timmons Group services.
  • Technical Quality: Ensure that all projects meet the highest technical standards, utilizing relevant software, modeling, and CADD technology.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and submit proposals to clients, negotiating scopes and fees, and ensuring timely billing and collection.
  • Client Communications: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, staff, and internal design teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent CAD software experience.
  • Leica, Trimble, or equivalent survey data reduction software experience.
  • Machine Control Models creation experience.
  • GPS/RTK technology utilization experience.
  • Preference given to those with Laser Scanning Technology experience.
  • Strong project accounting skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in client development and supervision of technical work.
  • Working knowledge of technical and office support software.
