Job Title: Licensed Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Surveyor to join our Survey Group in Ashburn, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned projects and client accounts, utilizing relevant office software, modeling, and CADD technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the successful completion of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Client Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling Timmons Group services.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and negotiate proposals, scopes, and fees for client projects.
  • Technical Quality: Ensure high-quality technical work, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Schedule and Budget Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent CAD software experience.
  • Leica, Trimble, or equivalent survey data reduction software experience.
  • Machine Control Models creation experience.
  • GPS/RTK technology utilization experience.
  • Preference given to those with Laser Scanning Technology experience.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and budget management.
  • Experience in client development and supervision of technical work.
  • Working knowledge of technical and office support software.
