Job Summary

MBI Health Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will work independently to provide support and guidance to individuals with serious mental illness and disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to teach clients the skills required to manage their disorder and succeed in their individual recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients in their homes, programs, and in the community.
  • Assist clients in developing and implementing their treatment plans.
  • Facilitate physical, recreational, social, and educational activities to promote client independence and well-being.
  • Identify and connect clients with community resources and services that meet their needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in the mental health field or social services preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
