Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Managing Director, Investment Banking to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our Capital Markets platform, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients across a range of financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Provide expert analysis and advice on financial markets, products, and services to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and lead high-performing teams to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to ensure the bank remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial markets, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and markets, as well as regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, revenue expansion, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
