  1. Process Optimization:
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to inform automation solutions.
  • Implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve overall manufacturing performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering within the injection molding or medical manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and robotic systems, with a strong understanding of injection molding processes and medical manufacturing standards.
  • Experience with CAD software and automation simulation tools, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification in automation technologies or project management.
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies, with knowledge of data analytics and IoT applications in manufacturing.

Work Environment:

  • This role typically operates in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to automated machinery and equipment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for vendor visits, equipment installations, and training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move equipment and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods.
