Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering compassionate nursing care as a Practical Nursing Specialist in post-acute care settings
  • Monitoring patients' physical and mental health, including vital signs
  • Conducting patient intakes and documenting medical histories and concerns
  • Assisting with medication administration and verification, tracking usage and effects
  • Creating a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
  • Assisting with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy tasks
  • Managing medical supplies and ensuring proper inventory
  • Adhering to and following resident care plans
  • Collaborating with staff to orient and train new team members
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a nursing or related role
