Position Overview:


We are in search of a seasoned and proficient Senior Tax Manager/VP of Tax to spearhead our tax planning and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax strategies for affluent individuals, with a particular emphasis on trust and estate planning.

This role requires close collaboration with our financial advisors, estate planners, and external partners to provide integrated tax solutions that align with our clients' complex financial needs.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and execute tax strategies customized for high-net-worth clients, emphasizing wealth preservation and tax efficiency.
2. Provide leadership and oversight for all facets of tax planning, compliance, and reporting.

3. Advise on intricate tax issues related to investments, real estate, international taxation, and other relevant areas for our clients' diverse portfolios.

4. Collaborate with estate planners to incorporate tax-efficient strategies into estate and trust planning.
5. Remain informed on tax law changes and assess their implications for clients, proactively modifying strategies as necessary.
6. Manage relationships with external tax advisors, accountants, and legal counsel to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
7. Lead, mentor, and develop internal tax team members.
8. Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing expert tax advice and addressing complex tax-related inquiries.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
2. CPA or equivalent certification is required.

3. A minimum of 10 years of tax experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar environment, with a strong focus on high-net-worth individuals.

4. Expertise in trust and estate planning is highly desirable.
5. Comprehensive understanding of the tax implications of various investment vehicles and strategies.
6. Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate complex tax laws into actionable guidance.
7. Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.
