Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Document Preparation Clerk to join our team at Contact Government Services, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for examining and reviewing voluminous amounts of documents relevant to pending litigation and ongoing investigations.

Responsibilities:

- Examine and assess the relevance or responsiveness of legal data with knowledge of the facts of the case and how they apply to the law.

- Review and organize documents, including summarizing, tabbing, highlighting, charting, and collecting certain documents or information gleaned from evidence.

- Create discovery listings, privilege logs, and redaction logs.

- Perform later-stage document review, seeking to determine if the document is privileged as the basis of client/attorney communication or a work product, possibly editing or redacting the content of the information.

Qualifications:

- Must have at least one year of general experience in the legal field in clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position.

- Certificate or Associates Degree in office administration, paralegal studies, or a related field.

- Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years of age.

- Required to satisfy all security requirements of the U.S. Attorney's Office prior to entering on duty, including a background investigation and credit check.
