About the Role

This is a highly technical role that requires a strong background in propulsion systems engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our Aeon R engine system, from concept to launch and reuse. This will involve driving engine system trades, managing engine interfaces, and negotiating requirements to optimize for the vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, as well as experience with liquid-propellant rocket engines. They will also have strong leadership potential, with experience in mentoring, managing complex interdisciplinary projects, and supporting continuous improvement of the people around them.

This role will require the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including propulsion, manufacturing, and test teams. The successful candidate will be expected to be a self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve themselves and their team, and to learn more about the systems that interface with theirs.
