Urology Nurse Practitioner Position

Position Overview:

OneOncology is seeking a qualified and experienced Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established multi-specialty group. This role focuses on providing exceptional care in the field of Urology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive Urology care in partnership with our team of physicians.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, implement treatment strategies, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Document interventions accurately and monitor patient responses in accordance with established protocols; prescribe medications as needed in consultation with physicians.
  • Support physicians during procedures and perform necessary patient evaluations.
  • Administer both IV and oral medications, manage vascular access devices, and oversee chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration.
  • Conduct therapeutic phlebotomy and monitor patient symptoms and side effects, collaborating on treatment plans.
  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy agents.
  • Identify patient and family educational needs and provide appropriate resources.
  • Promote wellness and connect patients with community resources to meet their needs.
  • Manage patient billing and documentation effectively.
  • Provide case management services for Urology patients and their families.
  • Prior experience in Urology is highly valued.
