About the Job

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Town of Brookline. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Library Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the library.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with three to five years of office experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Library Director, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
  • Prepare and maintain confidential files and records, including personnel documents and payroll information.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including calculating accruals and tracking attendance issues.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Salary Range: $33,450 - $34,880 per year, depending on experience.
