Regulatory Affairs Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team at FIRST US COMMUNITY CREDIT. This role is responsible for ensuring the credit union's compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements, including BSA and AML.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the credit union.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to employees on compliance-related topics, including BSA and AML.
- Investigations and Audits: Conduct investigations and audits to identify and address any compliance issues or concerns.
- Education: Associate's degree in a related field, such as business or finance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or internal audit for a financial institution.
- Certifications: BSA certification preferred.
This role requires working in an office environment with standard equipment, occasional travel, and prolonged sitting throughout the workday.
