Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

This is a key leadership position at WEAVE Inc., responsible for driving the strategic and equity-minded agenda. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively to establish organization-wide priorities and objectives, guiding implementation through programs and practices that reflect the mission and values of WEAVE.

About the Role:

The Chief Equity Officer will oversee the development and advancement of an informed diversity, inclusion, and equity strategy, aligning with business goals. This includes applying a DEI lens to every aspect of the employee and client experience, engaging employees, and listening to their suggestions about how to make our culture more inclusive. You will also become the key subject matter expert in equity and inclusion issues, supporting the company internally and representing it externally as a thought leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess current state and develop an informed diversity, inclusion, and equity strategy for the business.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to support the application of a DEI lens to every aspect of the employee and client experience.
  • Develop benchmarks or key performance indicators (KPIs) for WEAVE's DEIB efforts.
  • Ensure performance management and progression routes are inclusive and accessible.
  • Become the key subject matter expert in equity and inclusion issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, human resource management, organizational development, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how different identities, structural barriers, and current affairs impact DEIB issues in the workplace.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based approaches or tools to support DEIB efforts.
  • Adept at interpreting diversity-related data and legislation.
  • Prior experience in successful project management, particularly long-term projects with multiple goals.
