Project Manager/Estimator Commercial Construction

A reputable general contractor with an office in Fargo, ND is seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Estimator to lead their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience as a lead project manager on ground-up projects, with expertise in estimating, scheduling, quality control, design review, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the construction project, including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
  • Coordinate with the design team, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Research upcoming bids and prospective projects/clients.
  • Attend and participate in pre-bid or preconstruction meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and team members.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
  • Review and approve project invoices and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million in value.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
