Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to lead large conceptual EPC bids for our company, Wanzek Construction. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for developing accurate and timely estimates for complex projects, working closely with our Director of Estimating and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large conceptual EPC bids, developing estimates for complex projects
  • Collaborate with the Director of Estimating and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates
  • Conduct site visits, scope determination, and material take-offs to inform estimate development
  • Utilize estimating software to input data and analyze estimates
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, and vendors
  • Supervise and mentor junior estimators, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements
  • 7+ years of construction estimating experience, with a focus on EPC and design-build projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management
  • Experience with various contract types, including EPC, DB, and JV
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
