JOB OPPORTUNITY

**Commercial Construction Estimator**

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing accurate and complete job estimates, identifying project labor, material, and time requirements, and collaborating with clients to help them achieve their project cost budget.

**Responsibilities:**

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of commercial construction documentation and pricing
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to translate them into estimates
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to understand project scope
• Solicit bids from subcontractors and gather pricing and scope reviews
• Evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure full scope of work was considered
• Collaborate with clients to achieve project cost budget through consideration of plan details, alternate materials, and building methods

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of construction estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction documentation and pricing
• Experience with RFIs, Change orders, and estimating software
