POSITION OVERVIEW
- Tasked with developing proposals for engineering initiatives related to mechanical systems, assemblies, and precision components.
- Assists colleagues in gathering and organizing data for project proposals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate technical development strategies.
- Assesses and suggests technical solutions for client inquiries.
- Establishes requirements, scope, timelines, and budgets for engineering projects.
- Drafts comprehensive technical proposals utilizing various communication methods.
- Engages in the review and enhancement of design control protocols.
- Interacts with suppliers for component development.
- Examines manufacturing and supply chain data for cost evaluation.
- Completes other assigned tasks as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in the medical device sector.
- Background in engineering and manufacturing of medical device components.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA 21CFR820 Quality Management Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English with strong communication abilities.
- Open to travel as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The role is primarily office-based with a moderate level of noise.
