Job Title: Engineer I - Test

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer I - Test to join our team at Microchip Technology, Inc. to support our DPG product line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test equipment, fixtures, and procedures to ensure hardware requirements are met.
  • Troubleshoot test setups, calibrations, and anomalies in data to identify root cause and develop solutions.
  • Utilize RF/Microwave test equipment, test fixtures, RF and DC probes, and various microwave measurement techniques.
  • Prepare and present engineering test reports with plots and communicate complex engineering concepts to development team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering degree.
  • 0-2 years of test and/or troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, One Note).
Travel and Physical Requirements:

0% - 25% travel time. Ability to work at a desk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
