About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering Team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop custom mobile applications at scale, integrating with highly complex distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mobile applications using React Native, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mobile solutions with time and attendance systems, serving a global workforce.
  • Architect mobile solutions to solve large-scale problems, focusing on user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Work with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integrations with distributed systems.
  • Contribute to the global mobile engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and encouraging best practices within the team.

What You'll Bring
  • Extensive experience with React Native in designing, developing, and deploying mobile and desktop applications at scale.
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, data structures, mobile security, and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale projects, especially in a global and distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Expertise in ReactJS and Redux technologies.
  • Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
  • Expertise in creating functional automation testing using Appium or other open source automation framework.
  • Working knowledge in integrating analytics, Crashlytics, and measuring CPU and battery utilizations for mobile application.
  • Working knowledge of GraphQL, CI/CD, third-party libraries, and APIs.
