Job Overview

WILLOWOOD OF WILLIAMSTOWN INC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our esteemed facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Plan, develop, and direct the facility's programs and activities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Create and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures that comply with regulatory standards, ensuring clarity and compliance across all levels of staff.
  • Staff Management: Collaborate with department heads to establish performance evaluations and job descriptions that align with industry standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Conduct routine inspections and participate in surveys by regulatory agencies to uphold the facility's standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and maintain accurate financial records to reflect the facility's operational costs.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement corrective action plans for any identified deficiencies to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Community Relations: Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and the community to promote a favorable image of the facility.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all staff participate in ongoing training programs to remain compliant with current regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related health field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of executive-level experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
  • Possession of a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and reimbursement practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial management and the ability to interpret financial statements.
