Job Summary:

Solventum is seeking a skilled Plant Electrician/Mechanic to join our team in Meriden, CT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, as well as performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems, including drive control components, I/O, PLC devices, and logic.
  • Perform independent preventive and predictive maintenance on web handling production equipment, ultrasonic welders, pleaters, pumps, heat exchangers, building HVAC, and facility utilities.
  • Document work in maintenance tracking systems and develop standard work for maintenance activities.
  • Perform basic welding, machining, and fabrication tasks using shop equipment, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years of mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess or be in the last six months of pursuing a two-year technical degree or certificate program in an engineering or maintenance-related field.
  • Possess good documentation skills and can read and understand electrical/mechanical prints.
  • Basic understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.

Work Environment:

Onsite at 400 Research Pkwy, Meriden, CT 06450.

Travel: No travel required.
