Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift team in Meriden, CT. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing technical systems assistance, troubleshooting, and repairing plant-wide equipment. You will also develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical systems assistance for installation, maintenance, and repair of plant-wide equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex equipment problems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.
  • Analyze data to improve equipment maintenance plans.
  • Train and develop the maintenance and production workforce.

Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PIV certification.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Possess a good understanding of mechanical design and operation, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, lubrication, etc.
  • Basic understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at 400 Research Pkwy, Meriden, CT 06450. No travel is required.
