Position Overview

The US Commercial Office is looking for a meticulous and experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead the financial department. This role is crucial for ensuring precise financial oversight, adherence to regulations, and the enhancement of financial processes. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the executive team to uphold the financial integrity of the organization and support its expansion in the US market.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The perfect candidate will be a proactive, analytical thinker with a robust background in finance and accounting. They should possess a minimum of 3-4 years of experience across various accounting functions, including financial reporting, process optimization, and cash flow management. Proven expertise in managing invoicing processes, accounting entries, and bank account reconciliations is essential. A comprehensive understanding of tax compliance and legal obligations is also required.
Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the financial operations, including payroll processing, accruals, payments, month-end closing activities, expense management, supplier invoicing, and collections.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate month-end financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in the company's financial processes and systems.
  • Managing cash flow effectively and fostering strong relationships with banking partners.
  • Coordinating the processing and verification of invoices, as well as overseeing the invoicing for showrooms.
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax filings and legal requirements.
  • Working alongside management to formulate financial strategies that contribute to the company's growth in the US market.
Qualifications

The qualifications for the Finance Operations Manager role include:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in financial reporting, process management, and cash flow oversight.
  • Experience in managing showroom invoicing and accounting entries.
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance and legal obligations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
