Position Overview:

The Senior Facilities Cleaner is tasked with performing essential cleaning and maintenance responsibilities across various campus facilities, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, and public areas. This role is vital in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all campus users.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Cleaning Duties: Execute routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming designated areas. Ensure restrooms and common areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
  • Periodic Maintenance: Conduct thorough cleaning of less frequently addressed areas, including light fixtures, walls, and furniture. Maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of campus facilities.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Address special cleaning requests, manage linens, and ensure the cleanliness of carpets and upholstery. Utilize cleaning agents safely and effectively.
  • Building Security: Follow protocols for securing and accessing buildings, including emergency procedures and communication with safety personnel.

Qualifications:
