Salary and Benefits

The approved base salary range for this position is $175,825 - $240,640 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive.

Job Description

  • Firmware Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee the firmware development process, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Firmware Engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of firmware projects with a focus on quality and performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between the firmware engineering team and other departments, translating complex firmware concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure firmware reliability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Firmware design and development for embedded platforms or in a similar role.
  • Significant experience in firmware development with a proven track record of leading firmware projects.
