About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Embedded Systems Leader to join our team at Kohler Ventures. As a Firmware Development Manager, you will oversee the firmware development process, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of firmware projects with a focus on quality and performance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Firmware Engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the firmware engineering team and other departments, translating complex firmware concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure firmware reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Firmware design and development for embedded platforms or in a similar role.
  • Significant experience in firmware development with a proven track record of leading firmware projects.
