About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Rio Grande Veterinary Clinic PLLC. Estimated Annual Salary:$60,000 - $70,000
Main Responsibilities
  • To assist with animal surgeries and procedures, taking precise measurements and administering medication as needed.
  • To interview pet owners, gathering valuable information about their pets' medical histories and lifestyles.
  • To keep accurate records of patient vital signs, treatment plans, and test results, utilizing this data to inform future care decisions.
  • To coordinate animal care, working collaboratively with our veterinary team to prioritize patient needs and deliver exceptional results.
Essential Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a related field, with a strong focus on animal welfare and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated expertise in animal handling and restraint techniques, with a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
