Job Overview

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine examinations and diagnoses for small and large animals.
  • Perform surgeries, including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic procedures.
  • Administer vaccinations and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being.
  • Update client records and maintain accurate medical history.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary.
