We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at SSM Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and support.
- Utilize your critical thinking skills to analyze patient assessments and administer medications as needed, reporting any abnormalities to the physician in a timely manner.
- Perform hemostasis safely and properly, utilizing vascular devices as required.
- Enter patient orders and charges accurately, ensuring that all necessary information is documented.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, addressing their needs and concerns in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on the state of employment.
