Job Summary

This Expediter Manufacturing Sr role is responsible for expediting, routing, and dispatching materials and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift driving, inventory control, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expedite, route, and dispatch materials and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
  • Review master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alert proper authorities of potential problems.
  • Keep records of completed orders and take appropriate action to expedite materials, such as ordering damaged material replacement and scheduling in-house material transportation.
  • Assist with work order issues and prepare DOT paperwork as required.
  • Load and unload shipments at the facility.
Requirements
  • Forklift driving experience.
  • Inventory control experience.
  • Leadership capabilities.
  • One year of SAP experience and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • One year of PP&C experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Warehousing, transportation, and production support experience.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
