Maintenance Team Lead

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a team of technicians to manage the maintenance needs of the facility. They will be responsible for leading the daily work and performance of every employee on assigned shifts to achieve team and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- Handle employee discipline as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred post high school training or degree in a related field.
- At least 10 years of maintenance experience required.
- At least 5 years supervision experience in the manufacturing environment required.
- CNC machine maintenance experience a plus.

- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear, and stand for long periods of time. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, and use repetitive motion. The associate may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions, such as in a typical warehouse or external loading areas.
- This role can be physically demanding and may require the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
