Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the generation of stable CHO cell lines, cell banks, and expression assessments, as well as the scale-up of CHO pools in disposable bioreactors.
  • Provide logistical support to the laboratory, including ordering supplies, managing instruments, and maintaining a well-organized lab environment.
  • Collaborate with senior members of the group to design and execute experiments, capturing data in an electronic notebook and providing regular updates to project teams.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including therapeutic discovery teams, molecular biology, and purification groups.
  • Perform depth filtration of conditioned media and maintain daily upkeep of lab instruments, including reagent checks, calibrations, and issue reporting.
  • Ensure consumables are stocked and prepared for use in experiments, and maintain storage libraries with accurate tracking of material transfers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, with 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture, sterile technique, and a strong understanding of protein expression and cell culture principles.
