The Data Entry Specialist / Medical Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing personal and payer payments, performing end-of-day balance of office receipts, and generating bank deposit forms. This role requires a friendly, cheerful, and polite demeanor, as well as the ability to navigate the Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Record system.

Responsibilities

  • Process personal and payer payments daily
  • Review and send charges to insurance companies for services performed
  • Field phone calls from patients/insurance companies and clinics
  • Perform end-of-day balance of office receipts and generate bank deposit form

Requirements

Familiarity with computers is essential, and staff will learn to use our Electronic Medical Record system, billing system, and Microsoft Office Suite. A typing speed of 35+ wpm is required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary for this role.
