Railway Safety and Operations Coordinator

RailPros is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Safety and Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of railway projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site roadway worker protection for activities on and around live railroad tracks.
  • Coordinate job site activities, including dispatcher/train communication and On-Track Safety in controlled and non-controlled track areas.
  • Conduct daily job briefings with all personnel on the job site and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required electronic forms, including job set-up forms, daily work reports, and invoices.
  • Handle and place signs, derails, and other tools and equipment weighing 15 to 90 pounds, as needed.
Requirements:
  • 20 years of experience with the last position held as a supervisor track inspection (STI), assistant track supervisor (ATS), Foreman, or higher, OR 20 years of experience as a RWIC.
  • Ability to meet required physical demands and complete necessary tasks.
  • Understanding of On-Track Safety training and qualifications required for protected roadway workers.
  • Proficiency in radio communication procedures between RWIC/EICs and assigned work group.
