The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a highly skilled Mobility Operations Specialist to provide logistics contractor support for the development and maintenance of policies, programs, processes, and strategies supporting U.S. Coast Guard Unit Mobility, Planning, Transportation, and Logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mobility planning and execution subject matter expertise in DOD mobility/distribution systems and methodologies.
  • Support strategic mobility operations by utilizing various Automated Information Systems (AIS), including JOPES, aRFID, ICODES, GATES, FACTS, SMS, and IGC.
  • Collaborate with U.S. Coast Guard staff to ensure seamless integration of deploying forces into the Defense Transportation System (DTS).
  • Develop and maintain policies, programs, processes, and strategies to support U.S. Coast Guard Unit Mobility, Planning, Transportation, and Logistics operations.
  • Ensure U.S. Coast Guard members have the required skills and support mechanisms to expeditiously deploy and redeploy forces worldwide.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance Required
  • Strong knowledge of DOD mobility/distribution systems and methodologies
  • Experience with various AIS, including JOPES, aRFID, ICODES, GATES, FACTS, SMS, and IGC
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
