Position Overview:
The Global Wealth Management Banking Americas division provides a range of financial products and services tailored for UBS Financial advisors and their clients, aimed at fulfilling their financial aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of loans for High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, utilizing various forms of collateral such as Marketable Securities, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Unsecured loans.
- Prepare comprehensive credit presentations that meet established review timelines, accurately detailing loan purposes, terms, repayment sources, risks, and credit evaluations.
- Apply financial principles and analytical techniques to assess loan information and collateral in line with industry standards and internal policies.
- Stay informed on significant market developments and client financial conditions to proactively identify and address potential credit quality issues.
- Continuously monitor portfolio performance to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and covenant requirements.
Additional Duties:
- Provide timely recommendations for loan classifications and internal risk ratings, collaborating with Senior Managers to develop necessary remediation strategies.
- Facilitate the transition of loans from Underwriting to Portfolio Management, ensuring strict adherence to quality control measures.
- Maintain and update borrower loan data within internal systems and trackers.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of process and procedure documentation.
