  • Assist in urgent situations, performing triage and facilitating client interactions.
  • Communicate financial estimates clearly and discuss treatment options with clients.
  • Conduct sensitive conversations regarding euthanasia, supporting clients through decision-making and grief.
  • Gather comprehensive patient histories and ensure efficient appointment management.
  • Exhibit proficiency in veterinary terminology and medical procedures.
  • Prioritize safety for patients, staff, and equipment in all tasks.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient vital signs effectively.
  • Perform medical procedures such as blood draws, catheter placements, and medication administration.
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment, including radiology and ultrasound machines.
  • Assist in surgical preparations and post-operative care.
  • Recognize critical needs and respond appropriately during emergencies.
  • Manage hospital inventory and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols for medication administration.
Qualifications
  • Background in veterinary medicine.
  • Recent completion of a CVT program or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with veterinary software and medical equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Team-oriented mindset with mentoring capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of veterinary procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
