Cloud Optimization Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Optimization Engineer to join our team at Microsoft Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering software that measures and improves the quality of Azure hardware.
Your primary objective will be to obsess about customer experience, identifying and fixing systemic issues, and influencing new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with hardware architects and PMs to verify new Azure hardware, solve mission-critical problems, and embody our company culture and values.
Responsibilities- Design and develop software that exceeds customer expectations in terms of quality and performance.
- Oversight of customer experience to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Solving complex problems through automation and smart engineering.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages like Rust, C++, Java, or Python.
- 4+ years of experience developing web applications, including web APIs in C# and UX/UI in React/Typescript.
- 4+ years of experience working with cloud services such as Azure Web Apps.
