Job Overview

**Leadership in Operational Excellence**

This role involves providing strategic leadership in operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of performance metrics such as quality, productivity, cycle time, delivery, and cash flow. The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate activities of team leaders and production workers, establishing and coordinating departmental activities to meet business objectives and key performance indicators.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, operational standards, and departmental protocols.
  • Record data and inspect products for quality compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee production schedules, estimate labor hours, and explain company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct employee training, incident prevention, and facilitate communication between stakeholders, including management and team members.
  • Assign duties, adjust work procedures, and suggest improvements in production methods, processes, and workflows.
  • Resolve operational issues, motivate team members, and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate departmental activities and recommend employee status changes, promotions, or terminations.
  • Address grievances, conduct performance evaluations, and administer corrective action, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  • Mentor team leaders for professional development and growth.
  • Track departmental performance metrics, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Perform other assigned duties, as required.

**Requirements**

**Education:**

  • Minimum High School diploma/G.E.D. required.
  • Preferred degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

**Skills and Abilities:**

  • Experience in team building, leadership, cost analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and/or experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Experience:**

  • Minimum of three years of related manufacturing experience in a leadership role, preferably in a supervisory or management position.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
