Masking and Assembly Specialist

Position Overview for Masking Technician:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with various shifts available including 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, and 3rd shift from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $16 to $17.50, inclusive of shift differentials.
Key Responsibilities for Masking Technician:
- Ensure a tidy and secure working environment.
- Adhere to both verbal and written directives to execute tasks accurately and punctually.
- Interpret and comprehend customer specifications and technical drawings.
- Tasked with applying plastic tape, vinyl tape, or rubber plugs to metal components, guided by drawings and work orders.
- Utilize materials efficiently and cost-effectively, providing suggestions to supervisors for improved efficiency or cost reduction.
- Correctly rack masked components for subsequent processing.
- Carefully remove masking from products post-processing.
- Conduct visual inspections of all components for quality assurance at every stage (masking, racking, de-masking).
- Transport components from the masking area to finishing stations.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in all work areas.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for Masking Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn internal software systems.
- Experience in masking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus but not essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and decision-making capabilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to performing all duties in alignment with quality system standards.
