We are a privately-owned audiology practice located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, seeking ambitious patient-oriented advocates to join our team in Vancouver. Our goal is to provide exceptional hearing healthcare services using the best technology available.

Job Summary:

  • Coordinate and maximize revenue opportunities by creating an effective schedule for the practice.
  • Provide broad-based administrative support to the practice and staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and manage an effective patient schedule, ensuring timely and courteous interactions throughout the patient experience.
  2. Convert inbound / outbound calls into appointments and verify insurance coverage.
  3. Support the practice's wellness mission by asking current patients for referrals annually.
  4. Execute the appointment reminder process with pre-calls at 24 hours prior to appointment.
  5. Verify insurance and complete necessary paperwork to ensure timely delivery of hearing aid devices.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and development as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
  7. Anticipate provider needs, supporting patient care.
  8. Maintain patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA federal guidelines and practice policies.
  9. Track and report daily scheduling metrics.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred.
  • 2 years front office experience a plus.
  • Prior Healthcare/Medical experience a PLUS.
  • Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Hands on experience with office equipment (fax machines and printers).
  • Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented and organized.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well as a team member.

Salary: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
