Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Patient Services Representative to join our team at Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is estimated to be between $18.31 - $25.57 with clinical license (CNA/MA), and $17.77 - $24.54 without clinical license. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as a 401(K) retirement plan with discretionary profit sharing and cash balance plan.

Job Description

This full-time position will primarily involve answering inbound phone calls, making occasional outbound calls, and performing various patient care activities over the phone. You will work closely with clinical staff to facilitate patient communication, maintain accuracy of provider schedules, and support appointment coordination. Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to patient care are essential for success in this role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting an environment that reinforces Rebound's mission and Core Values.
  • Answering phones, logging calls, and responding to email requests and messages.
  • Assisting Medical Assistants and Unit Coordinators with tasks and prescription refills as needed.
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all team members.
  • Reviewing provider schedules and dashboards, requesting imaging and lab results, and managing hospital follow-ups.
  • Booking, coordinating, and rescheduling patient appointments based on defined protocol.
  • Relaying necessary messages to staff via the patient chart, email, phone call, or in person as required.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or GED; an associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or other related coursework is preferred.
  • Medical certification and/or training is desired.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and the flow of medical practices is required.
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records systems is essential.
  • Work-related experience in a medical office or call center setting is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage difficult situations, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
