Job Title: Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse

Core Dialysis is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis procedures in acute care settings.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to perform acute dialysis procedures in the Humble area. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administer dialysis procedures to acute care patients, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  3. Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care and support.
  4. Accurately and efficiently prepare, administer, and document all prescribed medications within your scope of practice.
  5. Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed within your scope of practice.
  6. Adhere to all patient-specific and facility-level policies, procedures, and regulations.
  7. Provide safe and effective dialysis procedures in compliance with Core Dialysis standards and state and federal regulations.
  8. Communicate effectively and promptly with the healthcare facility team and Core Dialysis team to ensure consistency in dialysis procedure processes.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
  • Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute nursing experience, with a focus on acute dialysis preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex patient needs.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks including patient handling and emergency response.
  • Ability to work effectively and critically think in a fast-paced and at times emergency environment.
  • Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
