Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct health assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact State.
- Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Acute Care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (not required for Employee Health, Primary Care, and Telemedicine departments).
- Prescriptive authority and DEA license.
- Experience working in an acute care setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
