Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution and delivery of departmental orders. This role will also involve assisting with inventory control and performing duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Supply Distribution/Inventory Clerk-SPD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refill supplies to par level, as needed, on all Pyxis stations using the refill procedure and stock out reports.
- Makes scheduled and unscheduled supply deliveries, completing all corresponding paperwork.
- Demonstrates cost effectiveness with handling of supplies, including rotating stock to ensure use of items prior to outdate.
- Receives packers of stock shipments in the Materials Management Computer System, noting exceptions to packing slips and notifying the appropriate personnel.
- Pick the department supply orders from Pyxis.
- Assists with problem solving with nursing unit staff pertaining to medical supply issues.
- Stock shelves of all received supplies and rotate all stock before it is put on shelf.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in supply chain or inventory management is preferred.
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Consistently reports to work on time.
